I Have Time

Have you ever told yourSelf that you didn’t have time?  No time for your Self, no time for meditation, no time for Yoga, not enough time for whatever it is you needed to feed your spirit. I recently set the intention to start going back to the beach for meditation. I used to go all the time and there was a point where I started to feel rushed in my meditation practice. I started to tell myself I didn’t have time to go to the beach and I stopped going altogether. Then one day, I told my Self, “I have time. I have to create time.” I needed that time at the beach watching the sun rise above the water. I realized that time in meditation was feeding my spirit in the morning. Every moment in meditation was magically clearing space for the energy I required throughout the day. I needed to make sure I had time for meditation. So, I decided to tell my Self that I have time and visualize my Self easily moving through my morning with plenty of time. Miraculously, the next morning I had 20 extra minutes. I had time! I kept reaffirming that I have time. The next day I had an extra 30 minutes. Nothing really in my routine changed, but I started to prioritize my time. When we think about what we really want to do and we prioritize our Self first, we create the time we require to consciously invest in our Self. When we give our Selves time for what we need, we have the ability to give more of our Selves to the people we love. Tell your Self you have time, over and over again. Use having time as a mantra and convince your Self that you have time. Tell your Self you have the time, and every moment you have the time, remember to make the most out of it.

Time is the greatest gift we can give to our loved ones and most especially, to ourselves. The love we hold inside requires us to give our body and mind time to heal from the external negativity and time to invite in the positive energy that we deserve.
